Holy Mass with Fr. Drago Gverić

On Sunday, February 16, 2025, the dear guest in our parish and the leader of the mass celebration will be the former parish priest, Fr. Drago Gverić.
Fr. Drago Gverić served as the pastor of our parish from 1998 to 2003, and at the same time served as a substitute pastor in the Spanish parish of Our Lady of Lourdes.
During his service in our parish in Edmonton, Fr. Drago left an indelible mark on the life of the parish and its parishioners. He was a spiritual and material help to many. His missionary experience brought him closer to our hearts, perhaps more than any other parish priest.
After Edmonton, Fr. Drago served as a pastor and missionary in Africa, Vancouver, San Jose (USA), and after Christmas 2023, he retired and returned to the Franciscan brothers in Split, Trstenik.
We wish Fra Drago Gverić a sincere welcome (or rather return) to our parish community.
