Notice to all users of parish envelopes

New envelopes for next year have arrived. You can pick them up every weekday before or after Holy Mass, and on Sundays after Holy Mass, at the parish office. The form for the 'Tax receipt' will be available after the New Year, which you will be informed about in time.

We encourage all parishioners to use the system of parish envelopes, so that we can have a more transparent financial financing system, which largely depends on the system of using 'parish envelopes' by the parishioners themselves.

The system of 'Parish envelopes' exists in parishes in Western Europe and North America for several reasons.

First of all, this encourages the parishioners to make a transparent donation, which is visible to the parishioners themselves when submitting the 'Tax receipt' at the beginning of the calendar year (where they can review the amount they gave to the parish in the past year). Also, all parishioners who are users of the parish envelope system can request a tax refund at the beginning of the calendar year, and use that amount for their personal budget.

One of the equally important reasons for using the 'parish envelope' system is our parish statistics in our Archdiocese. Namely, according to the number of envelopes, the Archdiocese evaluates the condition of the parish (the number of families using the envelopes), and gives an estimate for the future, that is, the viability of a parish community.

I invite once again all the parishioners to ask for their envelope number and register in the parish register, so that the entire parish financing system is as transparent as possible, but also better financed.
